Jan Lokpall bill Mass hysteria

Posted on 26 Aug 2011 at 11:34am

Welcome to the chaos promoted by news channels.Like every other Indian, I was glad too when I heard about this movement, Anna and the Janlok Pal Bill the first time. I did support the cause but as things progressed and I looked into details the mass hysteria just doesn’t make sense to me. With all due respects to Anna, your methods are undemocratic! We know the current government’s sad state and we want solutions and not a new road to chaos. We want to remove corruption and not “remove the current corrupt so that new ones can take on the reins of corruption”. Creating a super power in one…

Fear of Change

Posted on 01 May 2011 at 3:42pm

Most of the people would agree with me that change is the only constant thing in life and life without any form of changes would not only be monotonous but also inconceivable?

But how do you face a change. Facing the change, most people invariably feel insecure, lost and overwhelmed.

Lets try to analyze this: You had an extremely bad day and what do you say to yourself at the end of the day?

You ike the most of people, you’ll probably be happy it is over when you go to bed. Maybe saying something like this to yourself: “Thank god this day is over… lets see what tomorrow brings!” In dearing…

Fear of marriage, fear of commitment, benefits of marriage, fears of marriage

With divorce rates being what they are and people living well into their 70s, 80s, and 90s, tying the knot might seem more intimidating than ever. However, by understanding what marriage entails and clarifying your expectations, you can overcome your nuptial-phobia and make an informed decision on whether or not to get married.

All married guys assume that all unmarried guys lead lives of constant excitement involving hot tubs full of international fashion models; whereas in fact for most unmarried guys, the climax of the typical evening is watching an infomercial for Hair-in-a-Spray can while eating onion dip straight from the container. So, guys are…

This is a tricky question and really do not know what is best. But yes LIFe is more important then anything else. If u have life u can ahve love. With no life, Love does not exist. Fear of loneliness: An abnormal and persistent fear of loneliness, of being alone. Sufferers of this fear experience undue anxiety even though they realize that being alone does not threaten their well-being. They may worry about being ignored and unloved, or they may worry about intruders, strange noises or the possibility of developing a medical problem. Fear of loneliness is termed “autophobia,” a word derived from two Greek words: “autos” (self) and “phobos” (fear). “Autos” has given us many English words such as “automatic” and “automotive” (self-moving) and “autonomy”…

There are two types of fear, deluded or unhealthy and non-deluded or healthy. The key to dealing with fear is to check which type of fear we have, and to transform our unhealthy fears and to transform our unhealthy fears of what we can do nothing about into healthy, appropriate fears of what we can do something about. We can then use these as the motivation to develop refuge and to overcome what is really dangerous, and even eventually to overcome what at present seems inevitable, such as sickness,…
